I'm an avid student of life, and a lover of learning. I'm a fun, goofy gal that loves to laugh.

I'm a martial arts fanatic. I own two studios (well, "one" if you count the actual building we're housed in) and I love my job. In fact, its not really a "job" at all...It just so happens that I do what I love to do, and money just happens to come in and get my bills paid :-) . I taught Karate for a long time in community centers then later opening up my 1st commercial school "Inner Concepts Martial Arts" When got my black belt in Kajukenbo/Wun Hop Kuen Do, my best buddy and I opened a studio together, and we're still going strong. In January of 2007, I started "Seattle Wushu Center", where my main focus is contemporary Wushu, Tai Chi Chuan, and self defense.

Each morning I try to do a bit of Taiji or Qigong to start my day and help focus and center myself for the day at hand. Sometimes, stress does get the best of me, but it adds to the learning....

I believe that everyone has something to contribute to anybody's life lessons, and I like to surround myself with positive people to add to my circle of influence...I'm hoping to meet new people here on LiveJournal, that can contribute to life lessons.
